About Michelle Hensley
Michelle Hensley is a Certified Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Michelle grew up in Dayton, Ohio. She attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and graduated with her Bachelors in Nursing and a Child Development minor. Michelle later obtained her Masters in Nursing from Purdue University in 2017 and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from The Ohio State University in 2019. She has additional certification as a Pediatric Primary Care Mental Health Specialist and completed the KySS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Fellowship Program. Michelle began her career as a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit settings. She also has experience working with children as a nurse consultant through the child welfare system in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Michelle moved to Norman in 2019 to establish her home and career. Most of her time is spent with her husband and their French Bulldog. She loves reading, yoga, taking her dog to the park, and cheering for The Ohio State Buckeyes during football season!
